NET ZERO JOURNEY
Carbon footprinting for every business
We measure your companies’ carbon footprint and make sure that you know what happens where and when in terms of emissions, based on an analysis of your spendings. Within four weeks we deliver the first results, without a heavy workload at your side.
Together with our partner we analyse your companies’ carbon footprint, giving detailed Scope 1-2-3 insight in a matter of weeks.
Based on the initial analysis, reducing your companies emissions’ hotspots is a logical next step. We help you get started with a reduction plan.
After reducing, compensating your residual emissions is the last step in achieving net zero. Use our curated list of projects to become a climate neutral business.
Go above and beyond in your climate efforts
Carbon offsets explained. The use of voluntary carbon credits, as part of a climate change mitigation strategy that includes reductions in carbon emissions, is a legitimate way for organisations to compensate for its emissions. This is especially so when other economically feasible means of climate change mitigation have been exhausted and residual emissions remain.

HOW DO WE APPROACH
Regreener carefully selects the projects its supports, based on their ability to sequester CO2, their impact on biodiversity and their social impact. Our projects provide jobs to local communities. Social equality and diversity are key in what we do.
We are making a difference. Are you?

No, Regreener is not a charity or non-profit but a sustainable commercial company. Being a non-profit organisation comes with certain (financial) limitations. We believe that being a (financially) self-sustaining company, not only relying on donations and subsidies, enables us to focus on long-term impact on a large scale.
Although Regreener is a sustainable commercial company, we are otherwise operating like a charity, by picking the best elements that serve our cause: publicly publishing financial information and impact data. Also, our overhead margin of 25% is up there with the best charities. As it is our mission to have as big as an impact as possible, having a self-sustaining business model is the most efficient way of running our business. We want to be as streamlined and efficient as possible, being able to scale and attract top talent to reach our goals: regreen the world and fight climate change.
Our mission is to accelerate the broad impact of sustainable projects on our planet. To achieve this mission 75% of your contribution is used to funding climate change mitigating projects.
The other 25% covers all overhead costs to run Regreener, amongst other spreading the word of our mission, team member compensation, IT & software, office rent and office costs.
This is what happens to your money after you subscribe to our platform:
1. After receiving your contribution, we pay 21% VAT (value-added tax) to the government.
2. After that, 75% is used to fund climate change mitigation projects and relevant transaction costs. In your profile, you can see how much impact you have had so far by supporting these climate change solutions. We also publish proof of our tree planting, our carbon certificates and the donations that were made on behalf of the entire Regreener community on our Financials page.
3. Lastly, the other 25% of our revenue is used to to run Regreener.
The two factors responsible for this difference in prices are VAT (value-added tax) and 'Employee Commuting' and 'Business Travel' Scope 3 emissions from the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
Prices for personal plans are including 21% VAT. The VAT is paid to the tax authorities in whole. The prices voor business are exluding VAT, because businesses can reclaim the VAT they pay at the relevant tax authority. Therefore, VAT is irrelevant for businesses.
As for employee travel Scope 3 emissions, we have added an additional 10% to employee footprints to make sure that these are covered through a Planet Positive Workforce subscription.
All of our projects have been carefully selected, together with our Climate Science Advisors, based on four criteria:
- A track record in removing or reducing CO2 emissions;
- A positive impact on biodiversity;
- Social impact: providing jobs to local communities;
- Data-transparency: our projects have real, measurable and verifiable impact.
Next to that all of our projects and partners have their impact and financials audited by third party organizations, so that you can be sure that your contribution does what we promise: mitigate climate change
We support a vast number of Sustainable Development Goals through the projects we support, with a special focus on the following goals:
1) No poverty
7) Clean and affordable energy
8) Decent work and economic growth
10) Reduced inequalities
13) Climate action
15) Life on land
